The flat is located at this iconic building in Travessera de les Corts, designed by the architects Soteras and Mitjans in the 70s on the grounds of the old Barça football court. All the flats in the building are a kind of a corridor, between facades. both characterized by their polygonal terraces.
The reform project proposes to recover the original division of the night and day spaces, leaving the daytime area completely open and fluid, oriented towards the façade that opens onto the internal courtyard, with better orientation. The direct views towards this facade, and the diagonal views within the space are enhanced, and two materials are used to distribute and qualify the different areas of use (living room, play area, dining room, kitchen): the stone for the kitchen countertop, which transcends its merely functional scope, and the oak wood, present both in the recovered flooring, and in the slatted that finish off the spaces.
