The reform of this interior courtyard in a row house in the Sants neighborhood, for which the replacement of the existing pavement was required, allowed experimentation with the Hiruki cement tile system, designed by Saizverdoux.
The system tries to bring an architectural dimension to the floor by achieving space and movement from the pavement surface. Hiruki is made up of four unique pieces that constitute a logical succession in the metamorphosis of its triangular shapes. The project takes advantage of everything that is superimposed on each piece: the combination of colors, the space, the relief that emerges from it. From a serial system composed of geometric elements, different compositions arise that propose new planes and speeds.
